山东男篮引入小外援鲍威尔一度受到了外界的质疑，为什么要质疑呢？因为在上赛季，鲍威尔效力于青岛男篮期间，遭遇重伤，导致他重新回归CBA之后，已经大不如前了。山东男篮选择这样的小外援，在外界看来，还是有些不太负责了，有些应付了事的感觉。

根据夏晓司的报道，鲍威尔自称和克里斯是哥们，来山东之前，他就跟克里斯有过沟通，了解了山东男篮的情况，以及吃住行、教练球员等。
这倒是一个好消息，说明这两位外援是熟人，融入配合起来，应该会更快，邱彪大概率是不用去操心太多的。
更可喜的是，夏晓司透露，克里斯大约10天后也会赶到济南。这下好了，11月初，克里斯也来了，两大外援凑齐了，邱彪就可以大干一场了。
