瀚森的上场时间寥寥，这其实不算意外。他在夏季联赛的表现颇具吸引力，但自主得分能力的短板也很明显。原本外界普遍认为他会直接担任替补中锋，获得稳定出场时间，但我低估了开拓者对“无中锋阵容”和小个打法的执着——这种风格在季前赛就成为球队的重要标签，直接压缩了瀚森的上场机会。
瀚森在季前赛的表现大多不尽如人意，仅在对阵国王队的6分钟里有过亮眼发挥，其余时间都暴露了与NBA水准的差距。常规赛期间，他仅能获得零星的3分钟试打机会，表现也较为挣扎。开拓者志在季后赛，不会为了培养还未准备好的新秀而牺牲比赛胜负，所以暂时减少他的出场时间是合理的选择。
不过，对于还需成长的新秀来说，下放发展联盟是常见且有效的培养方式。开拓者的发展联盟附属球队“撕裂之城混音队”于2023年成立，主场位于波特兰北部的波特兰州立大学儿童中心，环境适合球员成长且便于球队监控。虽然发展联盟的整体竞争水平不高，七尺长人稀缺，无法给瀚森提供完全契合NBA的对抗环境，但至少能让他获得充足的比赛时间。
回顾球队近年对新秀的培养模式：2023年二轮秀吕佩尔曾下放发展联盟出战21场，第23顺位选中的克里斯-穆雷因在NBA缺少出场时间，也曾下放出战8场；上赛季吕佩尔再次被下放11场，贾巴里-沃克等人也有过短暂的下放经历。
考虑到NBA常规赛期间球队训练机会有限，且目前克林根和罗威健康状态良好，瀚森在NBA暂无出场空间。我预计他可能会在12月2日至11日期间被下放——这段时间混音队将在主场连续出战5场，无需长途旅行，球队管理层和教练组能近距离观察他的表现，他也能在短时间内积累大量比赛经验。在此之前，瀚森还需要跟随球队体验NBA的客场节奏，学习职业球员的日常准备流程。
