25/26赛季开赛3个月，没有欧战任务的AC米兰依然票房火爆，主场比赛平均上座人数72916人，位列意甲首位，同时也是唯一一支上座数进入欧洲前5的意大利球队。目前，圣西罗球场已被米兰双雄买下，首轮融资3.54亿欧元。
由于上赛季排名意甲第8，米兰本赛季没有欧战可踢。截至目前，红黑军团共进行了10轮联赛2轮杯赛，其中主场8轮客场4轮。据《米兰体育报》统计，米兰主场的比赛平均有72916名观众到场观战，略高于同城对手国米的70814名。
国际米兰的主场上座人数一直与米兰旗鼓相当，23/24赛季，他们的场均上座人数达到72838人，同期米兰的成绩为72000人，那一年国米赢下联赛冠军，两队合计近145000人的上座数字创造了米兰城的纪录。
24/25赛季，国米平均每场有70129名球迷观赛，在欧冠赛场的良好表现让他们票房火爆。米兰尽管各条战线成绩不佳，上座人数仍然达到了71512人，力压国米位居意大利首位。
25/26赛季至今，米兰接近73000人的主场平均上座人数是自92/93赛季以来的最高值。当时卡佩罗的球队每场比赛能吸引到惊人的77000名观众来到圣西罗。但也应注意到，那时候的圣西罗还没有因为安全规定削减容量，总承载量超过85000人。
还有一点与以往不同的是，米兰主场的观众群体也发生了变化。除了购买季票的本土球迷外，来自国外的游客或球迷比重明显上升，一方面是红黑军团仍然具有很高的国际影响力，另一方面普利西奇等明星球员也吸引来大批自己国家的球迷。
当然，米兰本赛季已经在联赛主场对阵过那不勒斯和罗马，而国米至今在主场还没有遇到过一支重量级的球队，他们还有几场重要比赛尚未进行，双方的差距可能会进一步缩小，特别是下一轮的米兰德比必将带来一票难求的局面。
在米兰双雄之后，罗马以接近63000人的平均上座人数位居意大利第3；卫冕冠军那不勒斯以超过51000人的平均上座数排名第4；拉齐奥以近46000人紧随其后；尤文的成绩为41089人，球场容量限制了他们的票房，安联球场只有41507个座位。
如果将统计范围扩大到整个欧洲，米兰是唯一进入前五的意大利球队。球市最卖座的当属实行会员制的德甲，排在首位的多特蒙德有81365人，第2名拜仁75000人，第3名曼联73969人，第4名皇马73782人。
对于米兰双雄来说，近来最好的消息当属圣西罗（梅阿查）的归属权落地了，两支球队已合力花费1.97亿欧元买下了这座百年球场，2027年启动重建计划，预计2031年竣工。
有了属于自己的球场后，两支球队不但每年可各自节省400万欧元的租金，还能通过承接商业活动、出售冠名权等方式带来上亿欧元的额外收入。据悉，圣西罗球场重建计划的首笔融资额度为3.54亿欧元，高盛、摩根士丹利、三菱日联银行、摩根大通等巨头都会参与进来。
